Your privacy matters. This policy explains exactly what AlsoFoundIn does — and does not — do with your information.
Data We Collect
AlsoFoundIn does not collect any personal information. Your barcode scan history is stored locally on your device only. It never leaves your phone, is never transmitted to our servers, and is never shared with anyone. Deleting the app removes this history permanently.
How Purchases Work
The subscription that unlocks unlimited scans is handled entirely by Apple's App Store using StoreKit, with subscription and entitlement management provided by RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment details — Apple processes all transactions. RevenueCat receives only the anonymous purchase information needed to confirm your unlock status.
Third-Party Services
AlsoFoundIn relies on a small number of third-party services:
- Open Food Facts API — used to look up product ingredients from the barcodes you scan. Only the scanned barcode is sent to this service to retrieve product data.
- RevenueCat — used to validate and restore your in-app purchase. It processes anonymous purchase data only.
Your Rights
Because your scan history lives only on your device, you remain in full control of it at all times — you can clear it within the app or by deleting the app. If you have any questions, or would like to request the deletion of any information associated with your purchase, contact us at connect@sunsetlinepartnersinc.com and we will respond promptly.
